Black Englishmen
To be identified as ‘Black’ is to take on a role from within a limited pool. Arguably a pool not created within the community to which it applies, but from outside. It is to see yourself, especially in the case of black men and boys, as a problem. It is to have no voice, to be marginalised and invisible.
